白鳥の湖 ＧＲＢ

２月１３日から１５日まで、「白鳥の湖」でした

ジークフリードをさせていただきました。

 

ジークフリードは王子の中でも、僕にとっては、程遠い存在だと思っていました。

脚のラインが綺麗じゃないと王子は出来ないと思っていたので、

プロになってからも、もっとどうしたらラインが綺麗になるか、とか

怪我をしないような踊り方はどうしたら良いかなどと、

プロならば気にしていたい事を常に追求しています。

前は足首が痛かったり腰が痛くて起き上がれない、という事ばかり、

今は白鳥の全幕を踊っても怪我一つ無い体になりました。

そして、全幕を踊るのに、ストーリーやキャラクターを発展させるのは、

一番大切なプロセスの一つなので、

どうしたらパントマイムやパドドゥでストーリーを語れるかを

ステップより先に重視しました。

その結果、とても心地良くジークフリードというキャラクターを、演じられるようになりました。

「白鳥の湖」を通して、バレエというものが更に深い世界だなと、思いました。

いつか日本でも踊れると嬉しいです。^_^

<Kyohei Giovanni Yoshida and Monica Pelfrey danced the central pas de deux, and arguably the entire show belonged to them. Yoshida danced in all three works, Pelfrey had leading roles in two.

The emotional connection between the two is thin. Their technical accomplishments are just the opposite.

Pelfrey's suppleness, her range of motion, and her ability to move gracefully in improbable directions and easily in whip-like turns, is astonishing. Yoshida's quicksilver moves and capacity to fill space vertically as well as horizontally is fascinating as well.>
